Day 1 – your country to Tehran
In the evening, gather at International Airport (meeting time subject to final tour notice).
Take a flight to Tehran, the capital of Iran, known as the "Paris of the Middle East."
Overnight on the plane.
Day 2 – Tehran → Kashan
After arriving at Tehran International Airport, drive to the City of Roses — Kashan. On the way, visit Agha Bozorg Mosque, built during the late 19th century in the Qajar dynasty, considered one of the most beautiful and magnificent historical monuments of the Islamic period in Iran.
Visit Fin Garden, a classical Persian garden with over 1,000 years of history, originally designed for Shah Abbas I. It is famous for its natural fountains, creating a strong contrast between the Kavir Desert region and the well-maintained oasis area.
Visit Boroujerdi Traditional House, a typical courtyard-style mansion, with a central garden and a pool, and an elegant palace-like hall facing the pool, resembling a grand stage welcoming guests from all over.
After dinner, check in to your hotel in Kashan for rest.
Day 3: Kashan – Isfahan
After breakfast, drive to the ancient village of Abyaneh, which dates back over a thousand years. For centuries, the villagers have preserved their traditional way of life. Women wear flowered headscarves and loose skirts, while men wear baggy lantern pants. The village is known for its striking red clay brick houses, which are built on steep hillsides in a terraced fashion.
Next, drive to Isfahan and visit the Chehel Sotoun Palace, located in the heart of a Persian garden. Inside the palace, large murals depicting the military achievements of Shah Abbas and the life in the royal court are truly captivating and powerful.
In the evening, visit Khaju Bridge, one of Isfahan’s iconic bridges. Under the colorful lights of the evening, it offers a peaceful setting for families, lovers, and friends to gather and enjoy the serene atmosphere.
Then, explore Si-o-se Pol, the famous 33-arch bridge, a typical example of Safavid period architecture.
After dinner, return to the hotel for rest.
Day 4: Isfahan
After breakfast, visit the ancient Friday Mosque, one of the oldest mosques in Iran. In some ways, it is considered one of the most distinctive buildings in the country. What attracts visitors here is not the dazzling mosaic decorations but the simple, earthy brick construction. Next, explore Imam Square, where Shah Abbas I once reviewed his army and watched polo matches. Among the historic monuments, the Royal Mosque (also known as Imam Mosque), completed in 1616 and designed by Shah Abbas I, stands out. It is the largest double-domed mosque in Isfahan.
Visit the Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque, which was once the royal mosque. Its architectural decoration and design hold great significance in Islamic architecture. Also, see the Ali Qapu Palace, located on the western side of the square. Its interiors feature beautiful murals depicting natural landscapes. Explore the Isfahan Grand Bazaar, an arched maze of alleyways that was the largest commercial center in the Middle East in the 17th century.
Lastly, visit an Isfahan carpet shop to admire the intricate Persian carpets. After dinner, check into your hotel for the night’s rest.
Day 5: Isfahan - Shiraz
After breakfast, drive to Shiraz. On the way, we will visit the heart of the ancient Persian Empire, Persepolis. This once magnificent capital, which began construction in 522 BC under the rule of Darius I, was completed over the course of three dynasties.
Next, visit the Gate of Qur'an. This city gate, located in the northern part of Shiraz, was built as a decorative entrance over a thousand years ago. In a small room at the top of the gate, Karim Khan placed a Quran to seek blessings. The belief is that this Quran will protect the people of Shiraz, ensuring their safe return home.
After dinner, check into your hotel and rest for the night.
Day 6: Shiraz
After breakfast, we will enjoy a visual feast at the Pink Mosque. The mosque is called the Pink Mosque because its colorful tilework features a prominent pink hue. It is one of the most beautiful and famous mosques in Shiraz.
Next, we will visit the Shiraz Grand Bazaar, which, compared to other bazaars, has a unique Middle Eastern style. The lively atmosphere and traditional architecture make it a perfect place for shopping and exploring local culture.
Afterward, we will head to Eram Garden, a historic Persian garden dating back to the Qajar dynasty. Its artistic design and unique techniques make it a spectacular sight, showcasing Persian garden architecture at its finest.
Next, we will visit the Salt Lake just outside Shiraz. The lake is a magical place, known for its breathtaking beauty, offering a surreal and peaceful atmosphere.
Afterward, enjoy dinner and check into your hotel for rest.
Day 7: Shiraz – Yazd
After breakfast, we will drive to Yazd. On the way, we will visit the Naqsh-e Rostam, famous for its four monumental tombs carved into the cliffside. These tombs are believed to belong to the Achaemenid kings, including Darius the Great.
Next, we will explore the ancient city of Pasargadae, which was the capital of the Achaemenid Empire. Cyrus the Great began the construction of this city around 546 BCE. Pasargadae is a UNESCO World Heritage site, with important historical landmarks such as the Tomb of Cyrus the Great.
After the visits, we will continue our journey to Yazd, where we will check into our hotel for a restful night.
Day 8: Yazd - Tehran
After breakfast, visit the Silent Tower, a cylindrical, roofless pillar, which was used for Zoroastrian sky burial ceremonies. Then, visit the Fire Temple, which has simple decorations but is famous for its sacred flame that represents light. Next, visit the Dolat Wind Tower, a unique architectural feature in Yazd that showcases the ingenuity of its design, providing coolness throughout the city. Afterward, depending on the flight schedule, transfer to the airport for the flight back to Tehran. Upon arrival, check into your hotel in Tehran and rest!
Day 9: Tehran
After breakfast, drive to visit the Sa'd Abad Palace, the former summer residence of the Iranian royal family. Then, proceed to visit the Niavaran Palace, the main residence of Iran's last royal family. Niavaran Palace includes several unique buildings and a museum.
After lunch, visit the Carpet Museum, as Iran is considered the birthplace of carpet weaving art. The museum houses a collection of ancient handmade carpets from various periods and regions of Iran.
Next, admire the Azadi Tower, a distinctive and monumental structure built in 1971 to commemorate the 2,500th anniversary of the Persian Empire. It symbolizes the Gate of Iran and the Tower of Kings.
Finally, visit the Tehran Miniature Painting Studio.
After dinner, return to the hotel to rest.
Day 10: Tehran - your country
After breakfast, visit Golestan Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage site located south of Tehran’s Imam Khomeini Square. This palace, with its rich Islamic architectural style, is one of Tehran's most beautiful historical landmarks.
Then, head to the Tehran Grand Bazaar, located in the southern part of the city. It's a popular spot for tourists to experience the bustling atmosphere of the Middle East and enjoy the fun of bargaining. The Grand Bazaar is also mentioned in One Thousand and One Nights, adding to its historic charm.
Next, visit the Jewelry Museum, housed in the basement of Iran’s Central Bank. This museum showcases the royal treasures of Iran, including thrones, crowns, swords, jewels, and other royal items.
After the visit, depending on your flight time, you will be transferred to the airport for check-in. Take your international flight back to Beijing, bringing with you unforgettable memories of your Iranian adventure.
